My Travels

When I was a child we couldn’t afford to go on foreign holidays. I decided that when I grew up, I was going to see the world.

Over the last few years, my husband and I have been in a position to be able to take two or three holidays a year, and we’ve been to ever more exotic places. While we have the physical capability and the finances to keep travelling, we intend to keep on doing it. We haven’t seen the whole world yet, but we’re working on it.

We visit Canada a lot as I have family there. There are some places we love so much we keep gravitating back there – New York and Paris, for instance. But on the whole, we try to go to a new place every year.

I am hoping to use these pages as a travel journal, using the notes in my diary to write travelogues about past trips, and adding further entries for future trips. Watch this space for updates.
